Around here, there are always fall open houses and craft shows, offering a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community and showcase my artwork. It’s something to look forward to, especially when the weather is a bit cool and the festive spirit starts to fill the air. This year, I have been fortunate to be invited to three shows to display and sell my art. The first one will be an intimate affair, hosted at my friend’s charming coffee shop, Grind Coffee & Bistro, located at 119 South Oak Street, California, MO. The event will take place on September 27th from 7 AM to 6 PM, and on September 28th from 7 AM to 3 PM. I am excited to present a collection of my original paintings, note cards, tea towels, and possibly my 2025 calendar if I manage to finish it in time. It promises to be a delightful occasion, celebrating Grind’s new location, and I would be thrilled if you could stop by and say hello, especially if you’re local. Following this, the next show will also take place in California, at the Holiday Showcase located in the AA Propane Building at 1638 E. Buchanan Street on November 9th from 9 AM to 3 PM. This particular event will feature an array of Christmas items, perfectly timed to welcome the upcoming holiday season. As the year draws to a close, the last show is scheduled at the Capital West Christian Church Event Center on December 7th. The exact timing for this event is yet to be finalized, but I am eagerly preparing to make it a memorable conclusion to this year’s series of showcases. I am including a sampling of my original artwork that will be at the first sale. Some are watercolor and some are watercolor and ink. They will be framed.

Will you be adding events that we can add to our calendars on the phone?

Hey Kathy, Glad you’re reading my blog. To answer your question, I don’t know how to do that. I think that is a very good idea and I will play around to see if I can do that.
