My name is Amy Meyer. I am a wife, mother of two adult boys, and an entrepreneur who thrives on creativity. I decided to write this blog because I love to read other blogs about what people are up to, so I figured, why not share my own experiences and insights? Here I am, inviting you into my life of all things home, watercolor, sketching, gardening, and the occasional recipe that brings my family together around the dinner table. As I explore the beauty of nature through my gardening and experiment with new painting techniques, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own creativity and find joy in everyday moments. My days are often filled with the laughter of my boys as they share stories from their own lives, and I find great joy in weaving those moments into the tapestry of our family culture. I truly hope you follow along this little journey of mine to see what I am up to as we navigate the ups and downs of life, share new discoveries, and create lasting memories together. The other day I was volunteering at MomCo, and one of the moms brought in the most delicious breakfast sliders. I will leave the recipe here in case you might want to fix them this weekend; they are sure to bring smiles and satisfaction to your table.

Ingredients: 24-pack Hawaiian rolls, package of bacon, dozen eggs, package of shredded cheese, butter, seasonings such as garlic powder, onion powder, and Trader Joe’s seasoning mix, etc.

Directions: Fry bacon, crumble bacon once cooled, scramble eggs, slice Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise, place the bottom part of the rolls in a baking dish, layer with eggs, bacon, and cheese, then put the top of the rolls back on. Melt butter with the garlic powder, onion powder, and other seasonings. Pour on top of the rolls and bake at 350° until the cheese is melted.
