Have you ever ordered groceries and then, when you go to pick them up, you realize that you never finished the order? Well, that was me today, and it was quite the frustrating experience. So, I had to order them again when I got home so I could send my husband to pick them up. Crazy! That’s what happens when I have a migraine; my mind feels all jumbled, and small tasks slip through the cracks. This week has been a fast, busy week filled with so many activities. Lots of painting, reading, volunteering, and visiting family have kept me on my toes. I have loved every bit of it, even with the overwhelming moments. I did manage to finish up my “dolly” ornaments today for my next show, ensuring each one had its own unique charm. This time I painted them with a vibrant green background, which I hope will draw in customers’ eyes at the show. I’m excited for the event! It is on Saturday, December 7, at Capital West Event Center, 1315 Fairgrounds Road, from 9 AM to 1 PM. You are all invited to come and check out the creations I’ve worked so hard on. Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? My friend is coming over to help me hang pictures on my gallery wall. I will take pictures of the process and post them on the blog on Monday. I’m really excited to get that done since the house was painted last week, giving it a fresh look. It feels good to finally add some personal touches to our space! I hope you have a great weekend full of fun and rest. I will see you on Monday.
