Hello and happy Friday! I hope you are doing well and have great plans for this weekend, filled with joy and relaxation. I have been invited to a cookie decorating class on Saturday. It sounds like an exciting and creative way to spend my time. I’m really looking forward to it and trying to say ‘yes’ to more things that bring me happiness. Today, I get to work at Dogwood Vintiques. My nieces and I have our little booth there. It is filled with unique treasures. I’ve only worked there once before. Interacting with customers was so much fun. I loved seeing their reactions. It is always neat to see what people are buying and to find out what resonates with them. I still have to finish getting my house ready for Thanksgiving, which is just around the corner. I did, however, get the grocery shopping done, so that’s one big task off my list. I am creating a little gift for those who come. I want them to have something special to take home. This way, they can remember the occasion. Sunday after church, I am going to a wedding shower. It is for a young lady I used to take home from school. I can hardly believe how quickly time has flown! How fun it is to see her all grown up and getting married, starting this beautiful new chapter in her life! And just like in true Amy fashion, I painted some items to go along with her gift. I also painted some ornaments for a lady’s family. It is always fun to put my spin on each one. How about you? What do you have going on this weekend?
