This week on four things… A mysterious read that was hard to put down, a cookie challenge on discovery, cookies for Thanksgiving, and several projects to finish before Thursday.
WHAT I READ…
The latest book I read was The Sea House by Louise Douglas; it was a stunning mystery that I made sure I had an hour or two to devote to the book. It was unexpected, and I never once figured out the plot until it was revealed to me. So good!

WHAT I AM WATCHING AND MAKING.
I’m still watching the Christmas Cookie Challenge on Discovery. These people have skills, and it’s amazing to see the creativity and artistry they bring to their cookie designs. I love to guess who is going to win the challenge. I went to that cookie decorating class this past weekend, and it was a fantastic experience. It was fun to learn how to pipe and what to use in the icing to make it stiffen. I’m going to try to use the techniques when I ice my Thanksgiving cookies.

PROJECTS BEFORE THURSDAY…
My goal was to have everything finished in time for Monday, but I didn’t succeed. I have presents to deliver to my mom (I ordered them for her). In addition to that, this table in the dining room needs to be cleaned up and set properly.

Today I would also like to go to the antique mall and hang this cutie to be sold. I need to frame it first.

One step at a time. I think I can. I think I can.
