Happy day before Thanksgiving. What are you doing tomorrow? Are you hosting or going to someone’s house? Do you play football? I knew a family once that played football after their meal. I always thought that sounded fun. At our house, we sit around the table talking about what books we have read, genealogy, and what we have been up to since the last time we got together, sharing stories that often lead us down memory lane. This year, we have two littles coming, so there will be lots of playing, and I can already hear the joyous sounds of their laughter filling the air. I did purchase a puzzle and a gingerbread house for people to put together if they would like. I am sure that there will be a football game on the TV and a video game being played. I will watch the parade while I prep for my part of the meal. I love the balloons. My favorite balloons are Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Hello Kitty, and Smokey Bear. Do you have a favorite balloon that you look forward to seeing every year?

I finally finished my tables. It is really no big deal and definitely Pinterest worthy.

At my house, we serve buffet style since there are three eating places. Family members pick up their drinks, food, and silverware in the kitchen. The third eating place is the island. I will set that up tomorrow after all our meals today.

I just have a few more rooms to dust and go over the floors one more time. I also want to make those pimento cheese thumbprint crackers, and then I can put my feet up and maybe read a bit.
