How’s it going? Are you done shopping, or is that still on your to-do list? December is flying by, and it’s hard to keep track of everything during this busy time of year. I can’t believe Christmas is almost here, and with it comes the excitement of the season. I still have some stocking stuffers to purchase, but I am almost done, thanks to my husband, who shops mostly for our children. It’s a true team effort to make this time magical, and I appreciate all his help in creating wonderful memories for our family.

Wrapping gifts is not my favorite activity, as it often feels more like a chore than a joyful experience. This year, however, I have tried to keep up with the wrapping, adding pretty bows not just for decoration but also in hopes of making the gifts feel a little more special. I am sure people don’t really care about the bows, but the presents do look pretty under the tree, all decked out. Which I have not placed under the tree yet because of our vacuum robot, Rosie, might destroy them. I have been using up my stash of paper, which has accumulated over the years from various purchases and leftover rolls. It’s not my favorite, but my rule is to use it up before purchasing more. So it is a mismatched lot of the discarded seconds of my choosing.
