Inspired by Lucas.lopes.art, I decided to make my own “doll” for a birthday card.

I have always loved whimsical art hence the art in my secretary.

The first piece is Lark Spur Lane, made out of paper and baubles; it is an elf snowman that came with a story. The second picture is of two ornaments depicting my sons’ cute little faces from when they were little, made by me from paper clay and paint. The third picture is of a googly-eyed monster with big teeth, made by my son Max in school. All of these are sweet and form a cute collection tucked away behind glass doors.
I have always enjoyed making things out of paper clay. This year I didn’t make any Santas, and I missed it. So I think I will start in January before the outside work calls me.

I did, however, make some snowman pails that I just loved. I do have one left in my booth (Evergreen #7) at the Dogwood Vintique Mall.
