Hello and happy Monday. I think it is Monday, but honestly, with the holiday chaos, it’s hard to keep track of the days sometimes. Do you get confused after Christmas about what day it is or what date it is? I hope you had a great Christmas filled with joy and laughter. We had a whirlwind Christmas that was both exciting and overwhelming. My mom broke her arm on Christmas Eve morning, which certainly added a twist to our planned festivities. After hours in the ER, we still decided to have a party at her house as planned, pushing through the challenges. Fun was had by all, even amid the unexpected circumstances. It was particularly enjoyable watching the greats open presents, their expressions filled with joy and wonder. So cute! My sister has been staying with my mom and doing the brunt of the work, ensuring she is comfortable and well taken care of during her recovery. My family has some kind of virus, which makes everything a bit more complicated, but we are all trying to support one another. While she is there, she has been organizing the children’s playroom. Yesterday, when I stopped by, my sister had a stack of books from my childhood for me to take home. Some I don’t remember a special memory of, but others I do, like Mr. Pine’s Mixed-Up Signs.

I remember being sick for about a week, and my neighbors brought this book over for me to read. I thought that was so nice.

And this book I don’t remember, but when I open the cover, I find it amusing to see that my mom wrote that my aunt gave me this book before she became my aunt, hence using her maiden name.

And this book bought from a Scholastic book order probably because I too had a best loved doll, Mandy.

And this final one I will show you is of Mickey Mouse. Oh, how I loved him as a child.
