Good morning. It’s another snow day here with school canceled. The fear of over-freezing causing black ice shut down the schools one more day. I’m not sad about it because it doesn’t affect our schedule at the end of the school year. My youngest is a senior, and his graduation date has already been set. So sleep in, dear. Yesterday I read an entire book, Liar’s Bench. I usually don’t share what I have read on a Wednesday; that’s Monday’s business, but it was good enough to break that tradition. So, if you find yourself with nothing to do today, I recommend reading this book.

The wallpaper craze seems to be back. I promised myself along time ago that I wouldn’t wallpaper any of our walls. Except for the hanging of hymnal pages over existing wallpaper left by the owner before.

But now that there is peel-and-stick wallpaper that is easy to remove, I have been dreaming of redoing the small bath off of my studio. My studio is downstairs in my home. Everything down there is more whimsical than the upper level.. The wallpaper that I been looking at is more traditional, but I could add whimsical touches to it, such as quirky artwork or fun accessories, to marry the other rooms near by.
