The chilly air outside is a perfect reminder of the season’s charm, making it a great time to snuggle up indoors with hot drinks. Well, it’s Monday, and you know what that means… WHAT I’M WATCHING, READING, AND MAKING. I’m excited to share some of my recent picks that keep me entertained during these cold days!

WHAT I’M WATCHING…I’m kinda on a royal kick lately, so I watched The Queen over the weekend. It’s fascinating to delve deeper into the lives of such prominent figures, even if the portrayals might not capture the entire truth. Not sure if it is all true, but it certainly sparks curiosity about how much of their public personas reflect their private lives. Will we ever know the truth in those people’s lives? The complexities of their experiences, the choices they make, and the traditions they uphold often feel shrouded in secrecy. Not sure why I care, but perhaps it’s the allure of mystery and the glimpse into a world so different from my own that keeps me engaged.

WHAT I’M READING…Again a royal, I read Spare by Prince Harry. I do believe he and the other royals have had a sad life, filled with both public scrutiny and personal challenges that most of us can hardly imagine. The way the press follows them and hovers over them, not letting them be free, is terrible, creating an environment where privacy is virtually non-existent. It becomes increasingly difficult to navigate personal relationships and emotional well-being under such pressure. I can only hope that his choices have brought him peace and comfort to his family and himself, allowing them to find solace in their own lives amidst all the chaos that comes with their status.

WHAT I’M MAKING… I haven’t been able to make anything lately. The pulls of family have made it hard to find the time and energy to dedicate to my creative projects, but I do plan on making some rabbits out of clay. I hope to start this week, and if so, I will show you the final outcome.
