Remember on Monday that I told you I wanted to make some rabbits? Yesterday, I carved out an hour and molded a rabbit head out of clay. I left it to dry, and it is still drying. However, the rabbit cracked overnight, so I will take some clay and fill in those cracks today. The plan is to paint it in soft pastel colors that evoke the spirit of spring and then place it on a pedestal that I have in mind. Additionally, I will add a flouncy collar and a big, vibrant bow at the neck to give it that extra touch of charm and whimsy. The rabbit will be cute on a springtime tablescape adorned with greenery and other springtime items that celebrate the season’s beauty. My goal is to have it all finished in time to show you next Wednesday, so stay tuned for the big reveal; I’m really looking forward to sharing this little project with you!

Thank you to those who have prayed for my Mom. Yesterday, I took her to the doctor, and her bone is healing from a break on Christmas Eve day. Now we need to start exercising it. That is going to be a little painful, but I know she can do it. And a shout out to my sister, who has been with Mom every day since the break. She is the big trooper in this.
Tomorrow, my friend and fellow picker is going out of town to find some treasures for our booths. It’s just a day trip. I am excited to see if I can bring back some springtime items. I want to add these to my booth at the end of February. I hope to bring you along in stories, so be on the lookout.
I hope you have a good Wednesday and I will see you in stories.
Love,
Amy
