Good morning, friend. How are you today? Today is going to be warm, the weather man says close to 70°. How about that! It feels like the perfect day to be outside enjoying nature. While spring cleaning, I have been rearranging a little bit in my home. I swapped out a picture my Grandma Bea had painted to one she gave me, and the change has really uplifted the room. She painted the one of springtime for me because she knew that I loved spring, with its lively colors and cheerful blooms.

Tomorrow is Mr. Handsome’s birthday, a day that we eagerly await all year long. In our house, birthdays are a big deal; they are a time for celebration, joy, and making lasting memories. Today, we are going to go thrifting, where we hope to find some unique treasures, and afterwards, we’ll pick up a pizza for dinner. Spending time together is truly the biggest gift we can give one another, and it strengthens our bond as a family. Tomorrow will consist of indulging in a scrumptious cake, and a lunch date with our boys at Mr. Handsome’s favorite restaurant. There will be candles to blow out, presents to unwrap, and lots of fun all around, creating a heartfelt celebration that we will cherish for years to come.

I don’t know if you know this but a long time ago I was a preschool teacher. Now that we have greats around, I thought it would be a fun idea to create a game for the oldest great to play when she comes over, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. To make it exciting, I cut out shamrocks and wrote numbers on them, which adds an educational twist to the fun. I’m going to scatter them around my house in creative spots, some behind furniture and others in plain sight, making it a little adventure for her to explore and discover. When she finds them, I will have her put them in numerical order, reinforcing her counting skills while she plays. Of course, she will get a prize at the end, something golden or rainbow to celebrate the holiday, which I believe will add an element of joy and anticipation. I think she will have a blast playing this little game; it reminds me of the excitement of hunting for eggs at Easter, a tradition she enjoys. It will be a delightful way for us to bond and create lasting memories. If you decide to make this game for your littles, let me know how it goes; I would love to hear about their own adventures and discoveries!

I wish you the best warm filled day.
As always I’m glad you’re here.
Best,
Amy
