Good morning, friend! This week has been so pretty, and today is not supposed to disappoint. The weatherman is calling for storms later this afternoon, which is a bummer. I love this time of year. Yesterday, the guy who takes care of our lawn came by because I enlisted him for some extra work. I asked him to dig up all the ivy in one of my garden beds. The ivy has taken over, and every year it inches further and further, choking out my pretty flowers. What a job! I’m glad he is young and has a good back; that is definitely back-breaking work.

Today he is coming back to put out fresh mulch in all the flower gardens. I love to see this progress.

My little seedlings are growing. I’m hoping they will get strong enough for me to put in the ground in May.

Recently, I added some spring decor to my front porch. I bought the square green pillows and the round floral pillow at the Target dollar spot. I thought they added a bit of color to my porch swing. I also hung a spring wreath on the chair. I’m waiting to get some pansies to sit on the chair. Maybe I will buy some on Saturday.

And because it is almost spring, I thought I would share with you my favorite candle. I bought this one on Amazon, but I know Dillards carries them too. It is called The Smell of Spring, and it does smell of spring—lilac and hyacinth.

One more thing before I go. If you’re local, Dogwood Vintiques is having an anniversary, and there are a lot of booths running sales. My booth is 20% off of everything. So if there are items that you have been wanting, now is the time to go.

As always, I’m glad you’re here. I hope you’re safe during the storm, and I hope you enjoy your weekend.

Best,

Amy
