Good morning friend. Happy spring and happy Monday. I hope you had a great weekend. I had a restful one. I went to an estate sale on Saturday. I took my time looking around. The house was amazing with lots of character. Everything about it was charming. I wish now that I would have taken more pictures. I did, however, take a picture of one of the room’s wallpapers. I just love the neutral colors and the birds.

I bought some things that I showed in stories, but I thought I would show you here.

Old photos are a hot commodity in my booth, attracting many customers who appreciate nostalgia and the stories behind each image. Today, I will be taking the family picture to my booth, where it can truly shine among the other treasures. The walnut frame with the man’s photo I bought for my house. I can’t forget the original ink drawing of the hunting dogs, which are for my house as well; their intricate details bring character to my living space. I thought the mother-of-pearl coasters were a great find, with their shimmering surface that adds a touch of elegance, and I will be adding them to my booth to enhance its charm. The Fisher Price airplane, a nostalgic piece reminiscent of childhood playtime, is for my toy-loving husband, who is an avid toy collector; his shelves are full of unique finds in his man cave. The empty frame, blanket, photo book, and vases will eventually find their way to my booth too.

I started growing some oat grass for an Easter table display. I love growing oat grass this time of year because it adds some life to a festive atmosphere. The bright green color provides a refreshing contrast against the pastel decorations commonly associated with Easter. As I tend the grass, I enjoy watching it flourish and grow, creating a beautiful centerpiece that will not only brighten the table but also symbolize new beginnings and the arrival of spring. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature.

The cosmos and zinnias are getting stronger. I have a fan blowing on them so their stalks will thicken up. I hope they will be ready by May to put in the ground in my cutting garden.

I hope you have a great day and that you’re enjoying Spring. It is a beautiful time of the year.

Best,

Amy
