Hello friend! It’s Friday; do you have big plans for the weekend? Now that it is spring, are you ready to fire up the grill and cook out? Or do you cook out all year long? I didn’t use my grill at all last spring or summer. I need to take off the cover and clean it well to prep it for this season.
Yesterday, I went to lunch with my sister and two of my nieces. It was good to spend time with all three of them because I don’t get to on a regular basis. After lunch, we went to an antique place. We all love to find treasures; it’s in our blood. The nieces found a couple of vintage postcards and a small turtle planter. I found an item that I have been on the hunt for for some time now: a Campfire Marshmallow tin. I am thrilled.

Right now, I have it out with my other tins.

But I am sure it will be front and center for summer with some American flags sticking out of it. And also for the Christmas season with maybe a tree. Do you have a collection of Campfire Marshmallow tins?
Today, my Mom, sister, niece, and greats are coming over. It’s a pre-birthday celebration, as my birthday is on Monday. My sister is on spring break from teaching, so it is a perfect time to get together to visit and play. She is bringing ice cream and sprinkles (because my great, her grand, loves sprinkles). It should be a fun time. If you follow me on stories, I’m sure I will have some pictures.
As always, I’m glad you’re here.
Best,
Amy
