Hello Friend. Happy Mother’s Day (early) to all the Moms out there. I am fortunate to have a great Mom who has been a guiding light in my life. She was my first teacher, shaping my early understanding of the world. Bringing out the big chief tablet, she encouraged me to write my letters and numbers with enthusiasm, fostering my creativity. She read to me, teaching me about Jesus and taking me to church, instilling in me the values of faith and community, helping me to appreciate the importance of both in my life. Disciplining me when I needed it, she did so with an understanding heart, reminding me to be good even as I would often mutter apologies all the way out of a church service. She was instrumental in instilling a moral compass in me, teaching me to kill people with kindness, to never steal, never swear or use God’s name in vain, and to share, love, and by all means, never cheat. My Mom is good; in fact, if you look at the top of her head, there is a halo that reflects her warmth, compassion, and the tireless love she pours into our family every single day, making her not just a Mom, but a true angel in my life.

As always I’m glad you’re here. I hope you have the best day and weekend.
Amy
