Hello Friend! How are you doing this morning? What do you have planned for today? My neighbor and I have been trying to walk almost every morning, embracing the fresh air and the beauty of nature. Today we meet at 7:30 AM, excited to embark on our daily adventure. On our walk, we see various things depending on which direction we go, from the cheerful chirping of birds at dawn to the vibrant flowers blooming along the path. Sometimes we walk by a farm with the most beautiful catalpa trees, their massive trunks so wide that you can’t put your arms around them, providing shade and a sense of tranquility. The sight is calming, and we often stop to admire the delicate white blossoms that adorn the trees in spring, a reminder of the ever-changing seasons and the joys of simple pleasures.

I have one growing in my back yard. At first, I thought it was a weed, but Mr. Handsome, told me not to pull it out of the ground because he believed it had potential. So, what do you know, it’s a tree! It grew very fast, shooting up several feet in no time, and now it stands proudly in the corner of my yard. I wonder if that is the kind of tree that God sent to shade Jonah, offering him respite from the scorching sun during his time of distress? Its broad leaves provide a lush canopy, but I can’t help but notice that big fat worms come and strip the leaves every so often, leaving behind a trail of devastation. Just like in Jonah’s time.
Today I am going to finish working on an art class for a young girl who’s parents contacted me to teach a few lessons to in June. What a fun opportunity this presents, as I love sharing my passion for creativity with young minds. I assured them that I am not a rule follower when it comes to art, believing that creativity thrives in an environment free from constraints. They didn’t mind my unconventional approach, so I am excited to create a vibrant and encouraging atmosphere where she can explore her artistic abilities without hesitation. Soon, I will be teaching this class, filled with various activities that will inspire her imagination and help her discover her unique style.

Also today I am running to the antique mall to fluff my booth, ensuring it remains inviting and fresh for visitors. I did this yesterday, but things sold surprisingly well, which means I need to take new items and rearrange the layout to showcase the latest treasures. This is a great problem to have, and it fills me with joy to see my selections resonating with others. I am thrilled people are liking the items I choose for my booth; it’s rewarding to know that my taste aligns with my customers’ preferences. If you’re one of those wonderful people that have shopped my booth, I thank you wholeheartedly for your support and enthusiasm, as it inspires me to continue curating unique finds that bring joy to your spaces.

As always I’m glad you’re here.
Best,
Amy
