Hello Friend. So, here we are; another weekend is upon us, full of possibilities and new adventures. What do you have planned? Anything fun or exciting? I am taking a day trip with two of my nieces and my mom tomorrow. We’re planning to explore some cool shops, stop at a charming cafe along the way, and maybe even discover some hidden gems that we can talk about later. I am sure I will have some stories and memorable moments to share about the trip on Monday. It’s always a joy to create new memories together!

I have been practicing with color pencil and water color together, trying to blend the two mediums. I’m not sure if I have quite mastered it yet, but I’m enjoying the learning process. The color pencil on the water color paper is not easy to smooth because of the divots in the paper, which creates unexpected textures and challenges. Each attempt at layering my colored pencil on the watercolor has taught me something new about the interaction between these art forms and how they can complement one another, even if the process requires patience and experimentation. It’s a journey of discovery that I’m eager to continue, as I strive to achieve a more refined technique and uncover the potential of this mixed media.
