Hello friend and happy August first. Usually this time of year, I am sad to see that summer is almost finished with school starting soon, signaling the end of lazy days and spontaneous adventures. However, this year feels different as I reflect on how much I’ve accomplished over the summer. With a wonderful family vacation, two enriching camps, an engaging book club, and an exciting vacation Bible school, my time was truly packed with both fun and learning experiences. As our youngest son prepares to start college, he will be living at home, which eases some of the pressure; I don’t have to rush around getting him ready with dorm supplies or settling him into a new place. Instead, I can focus on supporting him through this transition and cherishing the moments we have together at home.

I’ve been working behind the scenes to prepare for autumn for my antique booth (Evergreen booth 7) and for my Etsy shop (7frecklesbyAmy.etsy.com).
