Good morning, friend. What a beautiful morning it is here in mid Missouri. The temperature is cool and not stifling like many mornings lately, offering a perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. It is an overcast sky, but the sun is shining, peeking out and making an appearance. As I step outside, I can feel the coolness on my skin. The world feels alive, vibrant with the sounds of nature awakening; birds are singing their morning songs while the soft rustle of leaves adds a soothing undertone. It’s a moment to cherish, a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us in our everyday lives, inviting us to embrace the possibilities that the day might hold.
The sale @DogwoodVintiques is going good, with a noticeable buzz around the booth. Items in booth Evergreen #7 have been leaving pretty quickly, much to my delight. As the sale is set to conclude on August 6th, this means that on August 7th, I will take the opportunity to rearrange the booth and add lots of new items that I’ve been eagerly curating. I am so excited about what I will be bringing that I can hardly wait to show you; it’s like a treasure hunt waiting to unfold! I do have a theme that I am working with. The idea is cabin/cozy, evoking feelings of warmth and nostalgia for a serene getaway. I have painted several pictures to hang on the wall that beautifully complement this theme, creating an inviting atmosphere for all who visit. Additionally, I have collected many items such as rustic décor and vintage finds that will enhance the cozy vibe I aim to achieve. It will be so great if I can get the paintings framed in time; their display will add a personal touch and complete the cozy ambiance I have envisioned for my space. I can’t wait for you to experience it all!
In the mean time, I took time Sunday afternoon to craft. I made some flower frogs, snowmen, and oak leaves. The flower frogs and snowmen are made of clay. Some of the snowmen cracked overnight while drying, which is always a bit frustrating, but I will add clay to the cracks to mend them and restore their charm. Hopefully, by Wednesday, I can show you some final projects that I’m excited about. The oak leaves are going to be a wreath for the booth, tying in with a cozy theme that I envision for the space, filled with warmth and seasonal spirit, bringing a touch of nature indoors.

As always I’m glad you’re here.
Best,
Amy
