Hello friend. It’s Wednesday already, can you believe how quickly the week has flown by? I have been enjoying the temperatures here; it is unusually cool for this time of year, and it is a delightful treat that reminds me of the crispness of early autumn. My garden, however, is looking quite leggy, and some trimming definitely needs to be done. Yesterday, I took the time to pull some pesky weeds that had found their way into my flower beds and wash my picket fence, which was long overdue for a refresh. Just like Karlee says @karleegailbowman, “inch by inch life’s a cinch; yard by yard, life is hard,” and I can attest to that sentiment as I tackle these small projects one step at a time. It’s the little victories that really add up!

Before

After

This morning I gave everything a good drink, ensuring that each plant received just the right amount of water to thrive. I’m seeing more flowers with swollen bellies on my pumpkin plants, which is a promising sign of fruitful growth ahead. It’s such a joy to witness nature in action, as these vibrant blooms herald the upcoming harvest. Gardening is not only relaxing but also incredibly satisfying, as I eagerly anticipate the time when those pumpkins will be ready to pick. So fun!

I had an opportunity to go to a garage sale before the general public, which was such an exciting experience. Pam, who has many booths at the place where I have mine, organized this exclusive early access event. She invited all the people who have booths and who work at Dogwood to come by early and score some fantastic deals before the rush. As I browsed through the various items, I stumbled upon the cutest table that immediately caught my eye. I would show you, but it is already at a friend’s house being repaired, as it needed a little TLC to restore it to its former glory. The table is a bright yellow now, but I’m planning to give it a fresh new look by painting it a vibrant red, which I believe will really make it stand out. I did, however, bring a few things home that I can show you; they are lovely additions to my collection. These items will eventually be put back to replace some of the pieces in my booth when a sale comes up, adding a bit of freshness and variety to my offerings. I’m truly excited about how everything is coming together!

See you in stories.

As always I’m glad you’re here.

Best,

Amy
