Good morning, Friend. As I type this blog, I am wearing a sweatshirt. I love cool mornings, don’t you? There’s something refreshing about the air that makes everything feel more alive and invigorating. This is a three-day weekend, a perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy some time off from our usual routines. Happy Labor Day to all U.S. readers! It’s a great chance to appreciate the contributions of workers and perhaps have a little fun. Do you have big plans for the weekend? We don’t have any specific plans, but our priority is to rest and recharge. After a hectic week, that’s precisely what I am sure Mr. Handsome wants to do—just relax, sip some coffee, and simply do nothing while we enjoy each other’s company.
Here is the commissioned piece that I have been working on for quite some time. After numerous revisions and meticulous attention to detail, it is now completely finished and is ready to be delivered to its owner. I am truly excited about how it has turned out, as I believe it captures the essence of what was envisioned, showcasing my dedication and creativity throughout the entire process. Sharing this piece with its rightful owner will mark a significant milestone in my artistic journey, and I hope they find as much joy in it as I did while creating it.

It was fun layering colors upon colors of watercolor to paint this scene, as each brush stroke unveiled a new depth and vibrancy that brought the landscape to life. The way the pigments blended together created a mesmerizing effect, capturing the play of light and shadow across the canvas. I found joy in experimenting with different techniques, allowing the colors to flow and interact, transforming a simple idea into a vibrant, expressive artwork that evokes emotion and wonder.
As always I’m glad you’re here. I wish you the best weekend.
There will be no blog on Monday.
Best,
Amy
