Hello Friend! How was your weekend? I am thankful for the rain that we got in my area of the world on Saturday. We have needed rain so bad. How about you, did you get some rain?

I have some more to share about my little trip to St. Charles. I told you about the Happy Camper shop. I am still reeling with inspiration from that shop; the creativity displayed in every corner was simply breathtaking. So cool! All the shops in the area were decked out for Halloween, creating a vibrant and playful atmosphere that drew in visitors from near and far. There were skeletons sitting on benches, playfully posed as if they were enjoying the day, or attached to the buildings in amusing ways that made me smile. There was also an enormous octopus coming out of the top of a shop’s windows, its purple color drawing attention to everyone nearby. Of course, there were pumpkins and vibrant mums outside to decorate too, each arrangement carefully styled to enhance the seasonal spirit. It was so festive, and the lively decorations added a delightful charm to the old buildings that line the brick streets, making the entire stroll feel like a step into a storybook. There must have been a costume party because there were groups of people walking around in matching costumes. Some fun costumes that I saw were the Village People, ladies dressed in orange safety vests and orange cones on their heads, and I even saw the Kool-Aid Man.

I delivered a Boo basket that I had been working on for a few days, carefully selecting items that would bring joy and delight to its recipient. Alongside this festive basket, I also took the initiative to mail some cozy delicious assorted treats to several of my friends who are in college. The excitement was palpable as I wrapped everything up with colorful ribbons and charming notes, adding a personal touch to each gift. I thought I would show you the finished Boo basket that I delivered, complete with personalized goodies and little surprises that I know they would love.

That’s it for now, I hope to talk to you more soon.

Best,

Amy
