Hello Friend! It’s always a pleasure to write to you on this platform. I sometimes wonder who is all reading this and what thoughts or feelings my words might inspire in each of you. I hope this little blog brings you some joy at the beginning of your day, serving as a gentle reminder that there are positive moments to be found, even in the hustle and bustle of daily life. It’s my sincere wish that as you sip your morning coffee or enjoy the first rays of sunshine, these words can provide a sense of connection and uplift your spirits.
I have picked up the paintbrush again, watercoloring gift tags for Christmas presents, and it feels so fun to be creative on paper. The vibrant colors swirl and blend on the paper, each stroke bringing the tags a bit of whimsy. With each tag I personalize, I can already imagine the smiles on their faces when they unwrap their gifts, making this simple act of creativity all the more meaningful during this joyful season.

Yesterday, while at MomCo, Aaron Miller reminded all the ladies to be content in every season, emphasizing the importance of gratitude and perspective. He talked about the struggles of when more doesn’t seem enough. He encouraged learning to notice what is good in our lives, no matter how small it may seem, and the value of choosing less instead of chasing more elusive desires. In this fast-paced world, where the pressure to succeed and acquire more can be overwhelming, he spoke about finding contentment in the unfinished and embracing our current journeys. Aaron encouraged us to relax our grip and trust God more deeply, nurturing a sense of peace that comes from faith. Such a good lesson for everyone this time of year, reminding us to reflect, appreciate, and find joy in the process rather than just the end results. The verse for today was, “Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.” Proverbs 12:25.
I hope you have a great day and find contentment in it, embracing the small joys that each moment brings, whether it’s the warmth of the sun on your face, the laughter shared with friends, or the serenity of a good book. Life is full of little treasures waiting to be discovered, so take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you and let it fill your heart with gratitude.
Best,
Amy
