Hello Friend! On Wednesday, I traveled over the river and through the woods not to Grandma’s house but to an antique mall filled with treasures from days gone by. As I navigated the winding path, I couldn’t help but recall fond memories of my Grandma Nadine, who always kept a jar filled with delicious oatmeal cookies topped with sweet white icing in her cozy kitchen. The landscape around me was a tapestry of browns, with leaves gently dusted in a delicate layer of snow, resembling the very icing on those nostalgic cookies. While traveling, I marveled at a magnificent tree that stood proud, its bark adorned with an enormous knot that resembled a nose, and I wondered if the tree could smell, would it smell the inviting aroma of those oatmeal cookies? Just then, as if nature was putting on a show for me, two big deer gracefully crossed the road right in front of me, pausing briefly to survey their surroundings before continuing on their way, further enriching this journey that intertwined my memories with the beauty of the present.

I found some great finds on the trip, including items for Valentine’s Day, a cook book for summer that will complement my camp theme wonderfully, and unique items that will surely bring joy during Christmas next year. Discovering these treasures was a fun experience. I always enjoy the hunt, the thrill of searching through various shops and markets, uncovering hidden gems that will add character to my booth.
On Thursday, I ran some errands with Max. It was fun hanging out with him, as we chatted and joked while crossing items off our list. He is such a kind, cool guy, always bringing positivity into any situation. I did, however, carve out some time to paint some candy canes. These candy canes are for the candy cane hunt I host for the greats, and I always strive to make it special, ensuring that Scout and Rhett enjoys a memorable experience filled with excitement and holiday cheer.

Today, I need to run and add some items to my antique booth. For those of you that shop my booth, I want to say a big thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. My booth has seen a lot of traffic and many sales, making it a rewarding experience to share these unique treasures with you. It has been a good season. I truly appreciate each visit and look forward to bringing in even more fascinating pieces to inspire your creativity and nostalgia.
As always, I’m glad you’re here. I wish you a great day and an even better weekend.
Best,
Amy
