Hello Friend. How about those Seahawks? Did you enjoy the game? What was your favorite commercial? Did you fix a favorite snack to enjoy while watching?

We had the most beautiful weather yesterday. I went outside and carried off some limbs that were left on the ground from the last snow. To my dismay, some of my plants have peeked up out of the ground. It is too early. I loved the weather so much, but the plants are confused, and I am afraid when it gets cold again I might lose them.

Saturday I went to a brunch for my best friend. Her birthday was on Sunday—Happy Birthday, Michelle! At brunch, her friend since kindergarten came, her aunt, and of course, her mom. We had a fun time visiting and eating some great food. Some of the dishes we had were grilled cheese with bacon, apple, and cinnamon aioli; crab cakes with eggs on top and some kind of sauce; avocado toasts with tomato jam, burrata, egg, and a glaze. Michelle blew out a candle on top of a pancake that she sliced and passed the pieces around with warm syrup. It was a good time.

Over the weekend, I spent much of my time painting frames, a sign that says CAMP for my summer camp theme in my booth, and watercoloring some pictures to put in the painted frames. I also collected some items from my stash to take to my booth to replace some items that sold since Friday.
