Hello friend. Today is Wednesday, and I told you that I would show you the rabbit all finished. So, without further ado, drum roll please. I threw it away. Yep, in the trash. It was the most awful thing that I have ever made. I was so excited on Saturday to sand and paint the rabbit. I spent several hours mixing paint and adding touches. The more I added, the worse it got; when finally, I couldn’t take it anymore and I threw it away. I know, I know, you have waited one whole week to see the masterpiece (enter eye roll emoji here), and now you are disappointed. Never fear; a new one is on the horizon. Let’s see if I can make this one cute. If you’re so inclined to hang on, I will try to post it next Wednesday.

The beginning of a new rabbit.

I knew I had to show you something because I gave you my word. I don’t like to go back on my word, as integrity is important to me. So I pulled out the tin foil sculpted a rabbit head into place. husband said it looks like leftovers from a fancy restaurant. I heard fancy! My eldest son said it looks like a severed head upon a pedestal. I had it on the pedestal that it will go on after it is finished. I chose to ignore that comment. I am beginning my new fancy rabbit, a project that feels both exciting and daunting. We will see if it can make it to the painting stage.
