Hello Friend. How was your weekend? What did you do? Did you stay at home due to the cold weather, or did you get out? Max invited Mr. Handsome and me to a thrilling hockey game between M.U. and K.U. The atmosphere in the arena was electric, filled with the sounds of cheers and clashing sticks, and it was so fun! I had no idea I would enjoy it so much, but hockey proved to be incredibly exciting and fast-paced, keeping my heart racing with every goal. It was quite chilly, especially during our walk to the car afterward, but it was absolutely worth it just to spend that time hanging out with Max and his friends. And M.U. won. How about that?

Today is February 2. Can you believe it? Time just flies by, almost like it’s in a race to see how quickly it can pass. I know that I say this every month, but it really does feel like each day blends into the next with increasing speed. I look at the kids working at Sonic, and they look like they’re just 12—are they? It makes me wonder if I looked that young when I had my first job; it’s hard to recall those days clearly. Seeing these young faces makes me reflect on my own youthful innocence and how drastically things have changed since then. It’s a bittersweet reminder of the passage of time and how quickly the years can slip away from us. My friend from college sent me a picture recently of us from our freshman year. We were such babies. I loved that time at college, and I love the friends I made there.

I’m the one in green. Look at my big hair.

Over the weekend I designed a new set of tea towels and coasters. I am anxious to have them printed. When I get them back I will show you so stay tuned.

Anyway, happy February! It’s so good to talk to you today.

Best,

Amy
