Hello Friend. How is your May going so far? It is definitely busy, filled with exciting events and activities that seem to come all at once. We recently went to a friend’s wedding, which was a beautiful celebration of love, along with various graduation parties that highlight the hard work and accomplishments of those close to us. It’s truly a joy to be part of these moments, and we can’t forget about Mother’s Day, which is an opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation for our wonderful moms who have shaped our lives in so many ways. I’m feeling a sense of closure as I have had the end of Momco until next fall, which means it’s time to reflect on the past months and all that I have learned through that experience. On a lighter note, there have been so many fun estate sales, garage sales, and thrifting adventures that have allowed me to find some hidden treasures. I’ve also been busy with lots of flower planting and weed pulling in the garden, watching as everything comes to life with colors and fragrances. I’ve been diligently cutting back rose bushes because the tops were dead, making sure to give them the best chance to bloom beautifully next season. It’s a fulfilling time that brings balance, as I juggle all the festivities with the joys of my gardening endeavors, along with the soothing peace that comes from spending time outdoors, and enjoying the little moments that make life special.
I received a message from a lady who recently shopped at my booth. She bought one of my flag cards and my bait bucket. She plans to have a floral arrangement put in the bait bucket for her lake house. It was delightful to receive a picture of the flag card framed. This is the first time that I heard from a person I didn’t know who had purchased some of my items, and I found it so fun to connect with someone new through my work. If you are reading this and you have pictures of some items that you have bought from me or from my booth styled in your home, please share them with me. I would love to see how my pieces fit into your life and inspire your own creativity!

I found this list of a cleaning schedule on the internet. It has daily, weekly, and monthly duties that can help streamline the process of maintaining a tidy home. I am telling you some things are a given, like changing sheets, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming—they’re essential tasks that keep our living space comfortable. But I never wash my throw blankets and rugs every week; do you? I tend to wash them only when they start looking dingy. Maybe I should consider adopting a more regular cleaning routine for those items. What do you think? I did recently clean out some cabinets and my pantry, which desperately needed attention. My oldest son works at a grocery store and often brings home bags of chips, which has led to an overwhelming stash that we can’t consume fast enough. As a result, we have too many chip bags open cluttering the shelves. I needed to weed through them and throw some away. I think the pantry looks better now, and it’s much easier to find the items.

So that is what I have been up to. How about you?
As always, I’m glad you’re here. Don’t forget to send me some of those pictures of the items you have bought from me.
Best,
Amy
