Hello Friend and Happy July. Today is my Mom’s birthday. I have a good mom. A strong mom, a wise mom, a gentle mom, and a beautiful mom. She is 82 today, and what a remarkable journey it has been! She has lived life with resilience and has raised my sister and me with such grace and love that I am forever grateful. My mom taught us with big chief tablets, patiently guiding us in learning how to write our names and how to write our letters, instilling in us a love for education that continues to flourish. She read to us, sharing stories that ignited our imaginations, made cookies with us during long afternoons, filling our home with sweet aromas, and encouraged our minds with engaging puzzles. Beyond those cherished moments, she taught us to cross stitch, an art form that I must admit I can’t do to this day, yet it remains a testament to her talent and creativity. She painted beautiful things, such as ornaments and pictures to hang on the wall. Her gentle encouragement has shaped who we are today, and I aspire to carry on her legacy of kindness and creativity.
